My Projects
Inspired by the comforting shade of a banyan tree, this passive house is designed to create a comfortable shelter and connection to nature. Just as people gather under the shades of a banyan tree to rest, observe, and reflect, this home offers a retreat for the journalist who travels collecting stories from around the world. Here, the journalist can unwind, reflect, and prepare for their next adventure, embraced by the calm and protective under her banyan tree.
Drawn from the interlocking structure of the building’s brick facade, this social housing initiative seeks to develop networks and relations between residents, reflecting solidarity and support. As layering bricks, the “interlocking” design theme signifies the piling layers towards envisioning positive transformation, assisting individuals in building a better life by developing community engagement and empowerment. With interlocking spaces and networked relationships, this social housing seeks to imagine a friendly and open living environment.

Hybrid Store: Issey Miyake
Commercial Retail Clothing Store & Tattoo Shop
The interior design concept for the hybrid retail store of the clothing brand Issey Miyake and a tattoo shop draws inspiration from the theme of “扇子(Folding Fans),” symbolizing the seamless fusion of Eastern and Western cultures. Upon entering, customers will experience a trans-formative space that unfolds like a beautifully crafted folding fan, revealing its secrets layer by layer. The design spread like the pivot of the folding fan, with two distinct sides radiating outward—one showcasing the fluid elegance of Miyake’s clothing collection, and the other dedicated to the artistry of tattoo craftsmanship. The design shows the softness of pleated fabrics with the strength of structural elements, mimicking the delicate yet sturdy nature of a fan. Inspired by fan leaves, the fan-shaped gracefully separate the areas, guiding visitors where each turn reveals intricate details and curated experiences, celebrating the rich history and cultural exchange that defines Issey Miyake’s legacy.
The new office space creates a dynamic yet tranquil environment by integrating modern, contemporary, and biophilic design styles. With a focus on biophilia, the area uses natural materials to create a calm and laid-back atmosphere while maintaining an airy and open feel. The color palette features vibrant pops of green and yellow, infusing the workspace with energetic touches that complement the soothing ambiance. The design is dominated by curved and half-circular shapes, which add to the warm, inviting atmosphere that promotes inclusivity and teamwork. Strategic use of vertical lines also creates dynamic, consistent patterns that uplift the mood and stimulate the senses, encouraging creativity and innovation. In order to guarantee functionality and flow, ergonomic furniture and an open layout are carefully designed, encouraging both individual creativity and group collaboration. This harmonious design balances residential comfort with commercial functionality, creating a workspace that is both stylish and conducive to well-being.

This project embodies the concept of “The Third Place”. The design re-imagines the third place as a creative shelter, where art becomes the medium for healing and social interaction. In a world where isolation, disconnection, and self-expression are growing challenges, this space is where individuals can explore themselves and breed meaningful relationships, making connections—both with themselves and others. This space is about accompanying one another; even while working individually, people can feel supported by just the presence of others, creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.
